Thor 2015-02-12 1Meet Thor!

In Norse mythology, Thor is the god associated with thunder, strength and the protection of humankind. In dog lore, this Thor is known for his legendary spirit, gleaming white smile and his ever wagging tail.

True to his name, Thor is a lively, loving, confident fire ball.

At one year old, Thor has puppy vitality and will benefit from an experienced owner, and continued training to help him channel his energy.

Thor 2015-02-12 2He will enjoy joining you in robust activities such as long walks, hiking and jogging. After lots of exercise and fun, Thor loves to jump up on the couch and snuggle with you.

Thor is dog friendly and plays well with other large, exuberant dogs. Cats remind Thor too much of Loki, so he needs a feline free home.

Due to his youthful enthusiasm, size and energy level, he is not suitable for homes with young children.

Thor 2015-02-12 3Being named after a lightening throwing deity means you have a lot to live up to, but with time, training, patience and love, Thor will prove what a true hero he can really be.

Thor (SAS ID #15-678) is at the Shelter just waiting to meet you!
