On Fridays we feature an adoptable pet from the Seattle Animal Shelter (SAS). SAS is located at 2061 15th Ave W, just north of Whole Foods, at the corner of W. Armory Way. SAS is open Tuesday – Sunday, noon-6pm.
Queen Anne View has not met any of these pets – SAS is providing us with the description, as they know them well. We encourage potential adopters to get in touch with SAS and work with them to evaluate the compatibility of your home and a new pet.

Meet Panda and Riley!
How about welcoming a family into your family? Panda and Riley are mother and son shih tzus, looking for a forever home they care share with each other – and some wonderful new owners.
Panda, the mom, is about 6 years old and a bit more outgoing than her 2-year-old son, Riley. (Riley’s the charmer in the pink sweater.) Both love to sit on laps and snuggle. They’re as fond of their people (ages 10 and up) as they are of each other, and they also do well with cat and dog companions. So easygoing, so lovable!
All Panda and Riley ask is to stay together in a calm, quiet household where they can enjoy leisurely walks and lots of couch time with their new human friends. These affectionate sweethearts are easy to keep and perfect for first-time dog owners. Come meet this awesome little duo and see if they’re the ones for you!
