Bert is a happy, snuggly, playful adult Shih Tzu mix. He LOVES to go on walks, cuddle with his human, then take a nap in his crate. He recently had his long coat groomed to get ready for a new, happier life.

Bert has some minor vision issues he was probably born with that do not stop him from charging down the sidewalk, navigating stairs or jumping onto the couch. But he does startle easily and would do best with older children.

Bert (SAS ID#30192286) is being adored in a foster home; he is not at the Shelter.  If you would like to meet him, you must submit a Dog Adoption Application to SAS. Download the application and follow the instructions for submitting it via email or fax. Or, you may pick up and drop off an application at the Shelter.
