The SAS Pet of the Week is Princess!
Princess is the sweetest old gal! She loves to cuddle and get scratches. She’s everything that’s perfect about senior dogs – she’s easy to handle, mellow (she loves to nap), and is good with a couple of relatively short walks per day.
Princess came to the shelter as a stray. She is a Labrador Retriever mix, around 11 years old, and she is spayed.
This sweet girl would love to have a family of her own to snuggle up with throughout the upcoming winter. Just picture her curled up near your fireplace!
Princess (SAS ID # 29753120) is being adored in a foster home while she waits for her forever home. If you would like to meet her, you must submit a Dog Adoption Application to SAS.

November is Adopt a Senior Pet Month. Through November 30, the Seattle Animal Shelter is waiving the adoption fee for all senior cats, dogs and critters, including the lovely Princess. (Any applicable license fees will still apply.)

The Seattle Animal Shelter (SAS). SAS is located at 2061 15th Ave W, just north of Whole Foods, at the corner of W. Armory Way. SAS is open Tuesday – Sunday, noon-6pm.
Note: The Shelter will be closed on Thanksgiving and the Friday following Thanksgiving (Nov 26 & 27).
