On Fridays [this week, Sunday], we feature an adoptable pet from the Seattle Animal Shelter (SAS). SAS is located at 2061 15th Ave W, just north of Whole Foods, at the corner of W. Armory Way. SAS is open Tuesday – Sunday, noon-6pm.
Queen Anne View has not met any of these pets – SAS is providing us with the description, as they know them well. We encourage potential adopters to get in touch with SAS and work with them to evaluate the compatibility of your home and a new pet.

Meet Tina!
Allow me to introduce myself – I am Tina, a young, female Chihuahua. Some say I look like a small deer, but no, I am a dog.
I’m a sensitive girl, and don’t like to be startled, but really, who does? When I meet you, and become comfortable with you, don’t be surprised when I jump into your lap and settle in for some love; I adore gentle humans and can’t wait until I have my very own again. I came to the shelter as a stray – imagine, little me out there all alone!
I’m quite the catch, if I do say so myself. I’m easy to handle, cooperative, sweet, adorable, calm and eager to please. And of course, I’m spayed and up to date on my vaccinations.
I would like an adult-only, moderately active home with some prior dog experience. Another dog is a possibility, as is a cat with supervision.
I’m happy with leisurely walks – really, anything to be with you. Please consider me, won’t you?
