Seattle Animal Shelter Pet of the Week: Abby

Pet of the Week

Abby 1Hi, Abby here, and I mean to tell you that blondes do have more fun! I’m a happy, snuggly and sweet five year old girl who almost always sees the glass as “half full”! I adore being with my humans – don’t get me wrong, I’m fine with my furry foster brother too – but my foster mom is my bestie! I really like having all the attention!

I could use some more training on my leash manners as I get pretty excited when I see other dogs, and it takes me a bit to settle down until I can meet them.

Abby 2Make no mistake, I am one smart cookie – I like to train and I learn very quickly.

Older kids who are calm and respectful toward animals don’t faze me nor do cats, but I really connect with my one special person – I can’t wait to find them!

I’m super friendly with everyone I meet on my walks, and I have the right balance of energy for walking and playing, as well as snuggling in your lap for hours! Won’t you come meet me? You’re sure to fall in love!

Abby 3Abby (SAS ID #32129605) is being lavished with attention in a foster home; you won’t find her at the Shelter. If you would like to meet her, you must first submit a Dog Adoption Application to SAS. Download the application and follow the instructions for submitting it via email or fax. Or, you may pick up and drop off an application at the Shelter.
