Have you ever considered adopting a mouse? We have a number of adoptable mice in the Critter Room just waiting to meet you. Domestic mice are the picture of cuteness with bright eyes, dainty paws and a twitching nose all wrapped up in a soft, furry package.
They have distinct personalities and some like to be handled while others prefer to entertain you with their antics inside their homes (usually an aquarium or wire cage).
The shelter staff can tell you all about setting up a mouse home and caring for your pet mouse, and help you pick a mouse that is right for your family. Here are just a few of the mice that are currently available for adoption:
Fluorine is a sweet and adorable brown mouse who likes light attention but lives for his wheel! Being the athlete that he is, Fluorine loves healthy and fresh food in addition to his mouse pellets. Comfortable in a calm or lively environment, Fluorine is looking for his forever home full of love and preferably a bigger wheel to get his miles in!
Cadmium is an adorable little gal with a smirk permanently on her sweet face. She’s very social and would love to have a (female) buddy with her. Cadmium is all about the snacks and playtime and would thrive in a livelier home environment!
Argon is a sweet little guy who enjoys napping high up in his nest and snacking the day away. Being the bachelor he is, Argon would do best living the single life in a bigger cage for more climbing but is looking for love and companionship within his forever home.
Stop by the Shelter and ask for the Critter Room to meet these and other adoptable critters.
