Ace 2Meet the ultra-cool Ace!

Ace is a Jack Russell Terrier, possibly mixed with some Corgi due to his shorter stature and wider frame. At around three or four years old, he’s full of energy but doesn’t mind taking it easy when it’s time to lay down and relax.

This super cute fellow enjoys the park and hiking. He can go up to 16 miles at once with minimal breaks!! He loves to chase the wake and bark at the beach.

Ace 3He adores fetch and soccer, and his favorite thing to do is to play with his tennis balls. If he could, he would play with them all day! He’s quite the goalie indoors and out. He’s food motivated but also independent which is part of what makes him so special.

House-trained and crate-trained, he can go without a potty-break for up to 4-5 hours. He loves people, and tolerates other dogs well, but will need a home with no cats.

His fur is super thick and needs a good de-shedding once a week, which he doesn’t mind. He’s an amazing dog and everyone who meets him always say how wonderful he is, and what a great companion he is. Ace loves kisses and attention – he’s a total crowd pleaser!

Ace 1Ace (SAS ID #14-16003) is living large in a foster home. If you would like to meet him, you must submit a Dog Adoption Application to SAS. Download the application and follow the instructions for submitting it via email or fax. Or, you may pick up an application at the Shelter. If you have general questions about Ace, you may call the Shelter’s Animal Care Staff at 206-386-4294.
