Seattle Animal Shelter Pet of the Week: Tulip

Pet of the Week

Tulip 1Meet Tulip!

Tulip is a snuggle-loving, outgoing, social, 4 year old lady who is looking for her forever home. She’s had a bit of a rough time lately, having been hit by a car and fracturing her hip, but she is recovering wonderfully in her foster home.

She bonds quickly and likes being part of family life, whether it’s playing, hanging out on the couch or just being close by you. Tulip prefers to be active and enjoys playing with her toys, with people and with other dogs (she needs to rest her hip a tiny big longer, so playtime should be supervised for now).

Tulip 2Tulip gets along great with the two dogs in her foster home, trading toys and generally hanging out calmly with her canine friends. Check out the photo where she’s snuggling with her foster sibling. She is fully house trained and asks to go out when needed.

She has not had significant cat experience but it is likely she would get along with them since she’s so social. Tulip would love a forever family that snuggles and takes her along on walks and trips. She will be a loving companion for many years to come.

Tulip (SAS ID #30473955) is being adored in a foster home, she is not at the Shelter. If you would like to meet her, you must submit a Dog Adoption Application to SAS. Download the application and follow the instructions for submitting it via email or fax. Or, you may pick up and drop off an application at the Shelter.
