Seattle Animal Shelter Pet of the Week: Misty

Pet of the Week

Affectionate, confident and interactive Misty would like to meet you! As a people person, Misty would love to be close to you. If you’re laying down, she will lie on top of you and spread out to cover you like a warm blanket and get her head as close to your face as possible.

If you already have a blanket, she’ll often crawl in to snuggle with you. If you’re lucky, sometimes she will extend a paw and gently caress your face. Her fur is very fine and soft so it’s a real treat!

Her expression is very mature and gives the impression that she knows about a lot of things. The way she talks with you is very interactive, it’s like having another person at home waiting for you. When you are spending time sitting with her, she will look at you intently while purring softly to show appreciation.

At 13 years old, calm and majestic Misty enjoys a safe life indoors only. She loves to enjoy the sun from a warm space on the floor. She’d appreciate a mellow, adult only home as your only pet. It’s hard to feel lonely when you have Misty.

Misty (SAS ID #29144557) is being adored in a foster home; you won’t find her at the Shelter. If you would like to meet her, please call the foster care hotline at (206) 684-0685 to arrange a meeting.
