Seattle Animal Shelter Pet of the Week: Godiva

Pet of the Week

On Fridays we feature an adoptable pet from the Seattle Animal Shelter (SAS). SAS is located at 2061 15th Ave W, just north of Whole Foods, at the corner of W. Armory Way. SAS is open Wednesday – Sunday, noon-6pm.

Queen Anne View has not met any of these pets – SAS is providing us with the description, as they know them well. We encourage potential adopters to get in touch with SAS and work with them to evaluate the compatibility of your home and a new pet.

Meet Godiva!

Godiva is a beautiful, young, tuxedo girl who is feeling a bit bewildered at the moment. The shelter is much safer than the streets, but it just doesn’t feel like home.

Though shy, she is calm and relaxed and enjoys being praised and having her ears scratched. It’s clear that she has been loved in her short life. In the looks department, she has soft swirly fur, abundant whiskers, elaborate ear furnishings, clear green eyes, and a Santa Claus beard.

Godiva 2014-1-23 3Godiva’s personality will blossom once she feels secure in her forever home, and she will make a wonderfully gentle companion. Do you have room in your heart for this deserving youngster?

Godiva (SAS #13-11890) is at the Seattle Animal Shelter. Cat Adoption Applications are available in the Shelter lobby, or you may download the application and bring it with you to the Shelter or follow the directions to submit it via email or fax.
