This afternoon from 4 -7 p.m., an estimated crowd of 1,000 people will gather in Westlake Park to protest the Treyvon Martin shooting.  The protest is being organized by the NAACP.  There is no march planned, however, traffic could be slowed on the surrounding streets by the distraction of the large gathering.

Tomorrow, Friday, October 23, SDOT crews will be replacing the crash cushion at the northbound exit on Aurora Ave N to Bridge Way, which is the first angled road north of the Aurora Bridge. Due to this, the right northbound lane on Aurora Ave N will be closed for 500 feet prior to the Bridge Way exit from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Drivers will be able to exit on Bridge Way from the middle northbound lane.
