Open Mic night at Q Cafe

April 8th, 2009 by Miss Kitty

Victory Music, in partnership with Q Café is running an open microphone opportunity for acoustic musicians on Tuesday evenings at the Q. Sign up by 6:15, performances run from 6:30 to 9 pm. They get a range of folks from world-reknown pros like David Maloney (of Reilly and Maloney) to first timers. It is a great listening room and a supportive environment to play.  Video here.

On Friday April 17, Victory will be hosting a CD release party for a new compilation: “A Northwest Acoustic Celebration Volume Two” featuring some of the most talented, lesser known, songwriters in the region. Tickets are $12/$10 for Victory members. Show starts at 8 pm.

Q Cafe is a non-profit neighborhood cafe featuring direct trade espresso, tea, art, live music, and community events located at 3223 15th Ave. West.
