Fishermen’s Fall Festival at the Terminal Saturday

September 24th, 2009 by Thea

Head over to Fisherman’s Terminal this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the Fishermen’s Fall Festival, a free day of fishy festivities celebrating the return of the North Pacific Fishing fleet.

Events include a salmon and halibut fillet demonstration, lutefisk aating contest and survival suit race. But don’t worry, there’s something to do for all ages. Kids can enjoy miniature wooden boat building, fish prints, oyster art, and a trout pond. Although the event is free, for $7.50 you can tour the Sea Star from the Discovery Channel’s Deadliest Catch. Proceeds will go to the Seattle Fishermen’s Memorial.
