Queen Anne Helpline Christmas Tree Lot opens Saturday, November 28th

QA Helpline Tree SignWait! Don’t go out and buy your Christmas tree before the Thanksgiving holiday! First, celebrate a meal with your family and then make plans to head to the Queen Anne Helpline Christmas Tree Lot. The tree lot opens Saturday, November 28th, and it’s run by local volunteers and Boy Scout Troop 72.

The lot will be located in the Upper Queen Anne Safeway’s north parking lot, and will be open November 28th – December 20th. Hours are as follows:

Saturdays: 9am-9pm
Sundays: 9am-8pm, 9am-6pm on December 20th
Mondays-Thursdays: 2pm-8pm
Fridays: 2pm-9pm

As always, the tree lot will feature a variety of Christmas trees, as well as garland and wreaths. All your holiday greenery in one spot, and proceeds benefit the Helpline!

Also, if you’re looking for a way to help the Helpline, there’s one volunteer cashier position still open on Saturday, December 19th. You can sign up here for that slot – first come, first served!

The annual Queen Anne Helpline and the Boy Scouts of America Troop 72 Christmas Tree Lot opens tomorrow morning, Saturday, November 30th.

The signage is up, sales begin Saturday!

The annual community sale provides residents with a wide selection of trees, wreaths, and garlands – conveniently located next to the Upper Queen Anne Safeway, and with all proceeds benefitting the Helpline and Troop 72.

The lot was busy today with volunteers setting up the signage and sweeping up Christmas tree needles and trimmings as trees of all different types (Noble, Tannenbaum, Fraser, Douglas Fir, Norway Spruce) were moved into place. This year, the lot returns the north side of Safeway, bordered by 1st Ave N to the back and Boston St to the side.

  • Monday – Thursday 2-8pm
  • Friday 2-9pm
  • Saturday 9-9pm
  • Sunday 9-8pm

The tree lot is staffed by volunteers, and they can always use a few more! If you’re interested in volunteering, please call 206-282-1540.

Annual Queen Anne Christmas Tree Lot Opens Saturday

If you’re in the market for a Christmas tree, wreath, garland, or mistletoe, don’t rush out on Black Friday to buy them! Wait for the annual Queen Anne Christmas Tree Lot, it opens for business on Saturday, November 24th in the Upper Queen Anne Safeway parking lot. The Christmas Tree Lot is sponsored by the Queen Anne Helpline and the Boy Scouts of America Troop 72, and is staffed by neighborhood volunteers, Scouts, and their families. Plus, all proceeds benefit the Helpline and Scout Troop 72 – so help out the Helpline and local Scouts with your holiday decor!

This year you can choose from many different trees including Nobles, Tannenbaums, Frasers, Douglas Firs, or Norway Spruces. The lot will be located on the north side of the Safeway parking lot, and the hours are as follows:

  • Monday – Thursday 2pm-8pm
  • Friday 2pm-9pm
  • Saturday 9am-9pm
  • Sunday 9am-8pm

The Boy Scout Troop 72/QA Helpline tree lot is open

Now that Thanksgiving has passed, it seems the holiday season is upon us. And just in time, the Queen Anne Helpline and the Boy Scouts of America Troop 72 have opened up their annual Christmas tree lot in the Upper Queen Anne Safeway parking lot.

Staffed by neighborhood volunteers, Scouts, and their families, the tree lot offers trees (Noble, Tannenbaum, Fraser, Douglas, and Norway Spruce), wreaths, and garlands. And on top of that, 100 percent of the proceeds benefit the Queen Anne Helpline and Scouts Troop 72.

The tree lot will be open now until Sunday, December 21 (or until the trees sell out). Want to get a tree? Swing by during the following hours:

  • Monday through Thursday—12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Friday—12 p.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Saturday—9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Sunday—9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
