   We had our car brown into on Garfield, half a block West of QA Ave tonight between 8 and 9 PM. It was a white subaru wagon. Someone smashed the rear passenger window on the driver's side and we had a blue Patagonia laptop bag stolen. We'd love to get the computer and bag back, but I'm really interested in trying to find some of my wife's paperwork that was in the bag. If anyone in the nearby area sees paperwork from ABOG or a medical thesis about chemotherapy and ovarian cancer, we'd love help reclaiming the papers.    Thought I'd update folks that the papers were located. The thief or thieves tossed the bag and papers in a neighboring back yard from the alley. The house happened to be lived in by a bunch of SPU students who found the papers, searched for my wife's name online and contacted her via Facebook. Everything was soaked but salvageable , so there was some good news at the end. Those things that could be replaced -- the window and laptop -- were. Those that could not were found.
