Helpline logoThanksgiving is next Thursday, it’ll be here before you know it. As you plan your holiday grocery shopping, you can also help local seniors enjoy the holiday, thanks to the Queen Anne Helpline and its partnership with All Saint’s Church. Following on the success of last year’s Thanksgiving for Seniors, the Helpline is repeating the program and seeking both donations and volunteers to make it a success.

Via the program, low-income seniors in Queen Anne, Magnolia and South Lake Union can sign up to have a bag of groceries delivered to their door the day before Thanksgiving.

You can donate specified food items from the Queen Anne Helpline’s list or volunteer to pack grocery bags or deliver groceries to local seniors.

Go to this site today to sign up, slots are filling up fast!
