Our local Queen Anne Greenways community organization meets this Tuesday, October 25th, from 6:30pm to 8pm. The group’s mission is to make our streets safer for pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers alike. You can see some of the results of their work at Highland Dr & Queen Anne Ave N (the pedestrian activated stoplight that makes crossing so much easier). The group also planned this summer’s Play Street at the Queen Anne Farmers Market.

You can learn more about the group and the larger Seattle Neighborhood Greenways group this Tuesday, October 25th. Cathy Tuttle, Executive Director of the Seattle Neighborhood Greenways, will be a special guest at the meeting. She’ll provide an overview of the on-going work of Seattle Neighborhood Greenways.

All are welcome to attend this Tuesday’s meeting to learn about improvement efforts city-wide and in our own neighborhood. Queen Anne Greenways is switching up locations, so whether you’re attending the meeting for the first time or if you’re a regular, take note of the new meeting location: Aegis of Queen Anne at 223 W Galer St:
