The third annual Coat Drive for the Queen Anne Helpline is halfway over – but unfortunately, the goal is still a long way away. We first posted on the Coat Drive at the beginning of the month, so consider this a gentle reminder if you have coats or jackets to donate.
This coat drive comes at a critical time, as the Queen Anne Helpline is in desperate need of coats. The weather has certainly turned a corner and we’re firmly in our cool Autumn days and even cooler nights. A gently used coat would be welcomed by many in our community who are in need of assistance.
It’s easy to donate, just drop your new or gently used coats in the bin at the Queen Anne Umpqua Bank (1630 Queen Anne Ave N) through the end of October. And, if you happen to find yourself in Magnolia, there’s a donation bin in the Magnolia Umpqua Bank as well.
As always, thank you in advance for helping the Helpline!
