Seattle Animal Shelter Pet of the Week: Ramo

Ramo 1Ramo is a fun little cartoon character, full of love and sass. He adores snuggling in bed, hanging out on the back of the couch, and being included in adventures of all sorts with “his” people – picnics at the beach, out for fro-yo, walks in the woods.

He is initially fearful of strangers, especially men. So, he is definitely a lady’s man who takes a little time to feel safe, but once he does, he is a comical and affectionate little dog.

Ramo 2He is great with cats and good on a leash, and meshes well with calm dogs. He really wants to be a co-pilot and tag along whenever possible. He would prefer a quiet household with one or two adult family members. He is neutered and 5 years young.

Ramo 3Ramo is a total goof with squeaky toys and plays fetch like a tiny retriever. He is a loyal companion and 9 pounds portable. He can’t wait for belly rubs and riding shotgun with his new owner. And did I mention he has a wiry little mohawk?!

Ramo (SA ID #31580636) is being adored in a foster home, you won’t find him at the Shelter. If you would like to meet him, you must first submit a Dog Adoption Application to SAS. Download the application and follow the instructions for submitting it via email or fax. Or, you may pick up and drop off an application at the Shelter.
