Queen Anne Greenways is in the planning stages for the first Queen Anne Play Street. The community organization has already worked with SDOT, the Queen Anne Farmers Market, local businesses, and the Queen Anne Community Center to help make the Play Street a reality. And, the date is now set: Thursday, July 28th, 3pm-6pm.
The Play Street will be on 1st Ave W between the Queen Anne Pool and the Queen Anne Community Center. Now that the day, time, and location are finalized, what’s next? Your input.
Attend the Queen Anne Greenways meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, May 24th from 6:30pm to 8pm to join in and take part in planning the Play Street. The meeting will be held in the Teen Room at the Queen Anne Community Center (1901 1st Ave W).
Then, volunteer to help with the Play Street. A sign-up form will be available after the meeting, and you can always reach out to Queen Anne Greenways via its Facebook page.
