[Update: FOUND] An honest reader is seeking the owner of a car she accidentally hit last night, Wednesday, February 4th. She left a note on the car, but last night’s downpour may have demolished it.
“I hit a car last night as I was pulling out of a parallel parking situation on Crockett next to Safeway and did some very noticeable damage. The cars is a Sliver VW (maybe a Jetta) with California License plates. I left a note but because of the rain, i’m worried it was just mush by the time they got it. I also learned from my insurance carrier that California is one of the states that won’t share vehicle owner info with insurance companies attempting to follow up on these claims.”
