While Craig Wilson may have sold Video Isle in early 2014 to move to a warmer Southwest climate, his stamp on Queen Anne is felt by many to this day. Craig passed away from a heart attack last night, Thursday, January 14th, and while he lived his final days in Arizona, many will always associate him with Queen Anne.

Craig was a fixture on Queen Anne, emceeing the annual Queen Anne Helpline Fun Run (photo below taken by me back at 2013’s Fun Run, now also used in his memorial at the old now-closed Video Isle location – happy to contribute a great memory of Craig). He also was a member of the Queen Anne Chamber, a Queen Anne Helpline Christmas Tree volunteer, Queen Anne Little League photographer, a champion of small businesses on Queen Anne, and a friend to many residents. A really great guy I’m happy to have know via this blog.

Craig will be missed by many, but his community spirit will live on.
