Oskar’s Kitchen, the sports bar that Sonics Shawn Kemp opened in December 2010, is closing after tonight’s service. The closure is blamed on rents being doubled for the space at 621 1/2 Queen Anne Ave N.

It’s a sad day for us…. Another bar closes in Queen Anne and unfortunately… It’s Oskars ;(
We want to thank everyone who has come to visit us over the years and supported the bar.
Due to the bigger companies moving closer to Queen Anne our rent was doubled and we have no other choice but to say farewell to Queen Anne… But who knows… We may open another bar elsewhere in the future.
Come join us tonight for a massive party and and say your final goodbyes to Oskars
No word on the other businesses located in the building, or what may replace Oskars.
