It’s that time of year, time for shopping carts masquerading as bulls careening down Queen Anne Ave N from the Paragon to Kerry Park, chased by a throng of white-with-red-bandana party-goers. To celebrate the fiestas of San Fermin, the Comstock Commission kicks off its 6th Annual Queen Anne Running of the Bulls at the Paragon tomorrow, Saturday, July 11th at/around 1pm.
Runners take part in both good fun and spirits at the Paragon prior to the race kick-off. You can join the fun, just show up in all-white with a red bandana, scarf, or other accouterment, and get ready to run and whack the “bulls” with rolled up newspapers.
At Kerry Park, expect to see bullfights that conclude only when the bulls are no more. It’s a lot of fun to watch, so if you’re not into running, just pick a spot along the route and cheer on the runners and bulls!
