Bounty Kitchen opens its doors this Wednesday

One of the most frequently asked questions I get lately is “what’s happening with the Grub space” or “when is Bounty Kitchen opening” – and here’s your answer!

Bounty Kitchen will be open at 7 Boston Street starting this Wednesday, June 10th, serving “imaginative salads and healthy bowls with layers of texture from old fashioned cooking techniques like pickling, fermenting, roasting and grilling as well as raw and flavors borrowed from ancient cultures and modern blends.”

Bounty Kitchen’s owners have been hard at work, and by that I mean seriously hard labor. They moved into the space thinking it’d be a remodel and ended up with a full rebuild, including the kitchen. Exposing the original ceiling and installing new walls, plumbing, electrical, and flooring make up a brand new space for Bounty Kitchen and its crew – here they are at a training/tasting team event in the newly refurbished spot:

The new restaurant will focus on local, sustainable produce, and if you’re fans of the Queen Anne Farmers Market, then you’ll likely recognize Present Tense Farm as one of their suppliers. Bounty Kitchen will be using their produce and partnering with them for upcoming market dinners. Here’s a recent “field trip” (figuratively and literally) to Present Tense’s Carnation farm:

You can check out Bounty Kitchen’s June menu online here to whet your whistle or plan ahead. You’ll see that they have a variety of breakfast options too.

Bounty Kitchen will be open on Wednesday, June 10th and beyond. They’ll be serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner 7 days a week (7:30am-8pm Monday-Friday, 9am-8pm Saturday, 9am-4pm Sunday). Stop by and welcome them to the neighborhood!
