Wild Salmon Seafood to close (and move) this Sunday as new butcher finalizes plans

So, first and foremost, there is a new butcher in the works for the A&J Building. I’ve been in contact with the owner, but I’m waiting for everything to finalize with contracts, lawyers, and such before an “official” post. Stay tuned for that news in the next few days.

In the meantime, Wild Salmon Seafood will be packing up its shop at the A&J Building to make room for the new butcher. The guys at the Queen Anne shop will be moving down to the Fisherman’s Terminal location, so you can still buy high-quality seafood from Noah and crew at 1900 West Nickerson Street #105.

Wild Salmon sandwichIt’s sad to see them leave Queen Anne, but they aren’t going far – plus, the Fisherman’s Terminal location is open 7 days a week, 8:30am to 6pm (for those of us who all-too-often tried to shop on Mondays). The Fishermen’s Terminal location also offers a wider variety of seafood and plenty of free parking. So, the trek will be worth it.

And, with Copper River Salmon season about to kick off this weekend, take note of this deal: $5 coupons with purchase for Queen Anne customers to use at the Fisherman’s terminal location. Pick them up today through Sunday at the Wild Salmon Queen Anne location at the corner of McGraw and Queen Anne Ave N.

According to Wild Salmon: “We have truly enjoyed out ten year tenure at the Queen Anne location and hope that customers will not find the extra couple of miles to the Fishermen’s Terminal location any inconvenience at all.”

Stop by Wild Salmon this week – their last day is Sunday, May 17th – and wish them well… and stop by Fisherman’s Terminal to see them again, it’s not that far away!
