Back in February, we reported on an armed robbery at the Upper Queen Anne Homegrown Sandwich Shop. Luckily, no customers were in the store and the employees were unharmed. No doubt, still a scary incident.
Turns out, the suspect in the Homegrown robbery has been rather prolific in his endeavors. He’s been hitting sandwich and coffee shops in the area, and SPD is looking for him, and is seeking tips from the public.
Below is the info from the SPD Blotter, along with photos, a video of the suspect, and a map of the businesses he’s robbed.

Detectives are looking for leads that could help identify an armed robber, who’s been targeting restaurants and coffee shops in Queen Anne, Wedgwood, Ravenna, Maple Leaf, and Greenwood over the last three months. [Editor’s note: including the Homegrown on Queen Anne]
The masked suspect has walked into seven different businesses—sometimes just as staff are closing up shop—and demanded money from employees while holding them at gunpoint.
Detectives believe the suspect is a white male, 18-25 years old, between 5’8 and 6’0.
Witnesses have reported seeing the man arrive at or flee from the scene of several robberies in a noticeably dirty dark green minivan. equipped with a rooftop luggage rack.
