Key Arena NCAAThis year, Key Arena is hosting the 2015 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship second and third rounds (you can check out their new floor decor to the right).

That means March Madness comes to Seattle, and to our Lower Queen Anne streets. 14,000 people are expected at each game, so prepare for traffic and parking challenges.

The games kick off tomorrow, Friday, March 20th. Four games are scheduled for Friday, two for Sunday (times TBD for those games):

Friday, March 20

  • Northern Iowa vs. Wyoming at 10:40am
  • Louisville vs. UC Irvine at 1:10pm
  • Iowa vs. Davidson at 4:20pm
  • Gonzaga vs. North Dakota State at 6:50pm

Sunday, March 22

  • Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2
  • Winner Game 3 vs. Winner Game 4

Keep in mind that while these games will snarl traffic, they also bring in business. Key Arena gets a big nod, and local restaurants will surely benefit too. Just plan your travels accordingly, and get ready for March Madness!
