The Queen Anne Community Council meets this Wednesday, March 4th at Queen Anne Manor (100 Crockett St) at 7:30pm. The regular committee reports will include a review from the new Public Safety committee, which focuses on crime and traffic safety.

In addition to the committee reports and an open forum, the QACC meeting features Barcy Fisher from the Queen Anne Neighborhood Alliance (QANA). Barcy will provide information on a “variety of ways neighbors can get involved, connect, learn and have fun while helping to build community.”

QANA is always looking for interested neighbors to help and have fun with community events like the annual Queen Anne Days, the Queen Anne Farmer’s Market tent, and advocacy groups that support local businesses.

Here’s the full agenda:

  • 7:30 – Adoption of Agenda, Approval of minutes, Treasurer’s Report
  • 7:35 – Open Forum
  • 7:45 – Queen Anne Neighborhood Alliance, Barcy Fisher
  • 8:15 – Committee Reports – Transportation, LURC/Planning, Parks, Public Safety, District Council, NAC, Communications
  • 9:15 – New Business
  • 9:30 – Adjournment

If you’d like to get involved with QANA or help out with fun events like Queen Anne Days, you can meet Barcy at Wednesday’s QACC meeting or email her for more info.
