One of our newest Queen Anne businesses, Vian Hunter House of Fashion, is throwing a party to celebrate its grand opening. Vian Hunter first opened its doors back in November, and now that the holidays have receded into the past, the shop is ready to celebrate its new location at 6 W Howe.
It’s not your usual grand opening celebration – it’s a costume party, complete with cocktails. Vian Hunter invites guests to dress in either Downton Abbey or Mad Men costume, and head to the shop for an informal modeling of women’s clothing from the 1920s through the 1970s. Pick your television poison and RSVP via email.
The event is free, but a portion of proceeds from evening sales will go to Jubilee Women’s Center.
