Queen Anne signThe Queen Anne Community Council is a community group made up of residents and business owners that meets monthly to discuss a variety of topics. We’ve posted in the recent past on calls for new board members and provide the heads up on the monthly meetings. However,  in discussions with Queen Anne residents, I’ve often been asked what exactly the QACC is and what role it plays in our community.

If you have questions about the QACC or want to get involved, tonight’s meeting is for you. The QACC meetings typically host guest speakers, but tonight the agenda has an open discussion  and a QACC overview instead.

The meeting is open to all and starts at 7:30pm at Queen Anne Manor (100 Crockett St). Here’s tonight’s agenda:

  • 7:30 -Adoption of Agenda
  • 7:35 – Open Forum-comments
  • 7:45 – Overview of QACC
  • 8:15 – Committee Reports (Transportation, LURC/Planning, Parks, Public Safety, District Council, NAC, Communications
  • 8:45 – New Business
  • 8:50 – Adjournment

If you’re looking to get involved in the Queen Anne community in 2015, attend tonight’s meeting and get connected.
