There was activity this weekend at 12 Boston St, the former home of Chinoise Café. Ikiiki Sushi is moving in and moving tables, chairs, and artwork around. A sign on their door says “opening soon” – and the menu has been updated with the Queen Anne location address.
The Queen Anne location is not Ikiiki Sushi’s first venture. The owners also operate an Ikiiki Sushi in Kenmore (northeast of Lake Washington). The menu is identical for both and it’s not limited to sushi alone.
Like its predecessor, Ikiiki Sushi will also offer Chinese and Japanese entrees, noodles, and soups. You’ll even see some familiar pan-Asian dishes that were served at Chinoise such as Mongolian Beef, Singapore Style Fried Vermicelli, Phad Thai, and General Tao’s Chicken.
