On Fridays [this week, it’s Saturday due to Christmas] we feature an adoptable pet from the Seattle Animal Shelter (SAS). SAS is located at 2061 15th Ave W, just north of Whole Foods, at the corner of W. Armory Way. SAS is open Tuesday – Sunday, noon-6pm.
Queen Anne View has not met any of these pets – SAS is providing us with the description, as they know them well. We encourage potential adopters to get in touch with SAS and work with them to evaluate the compatibility of your home and a new pet.

Meet Shadow!
Shadow is a beautiful, lively cat who will thrive in a cat savvy home. She enjoys attention on her own terms and, in true lioness fashion, will let you know when she would prefer to turn her royal self to other matters.
She is happy to sit on your lap and be very affectionate, but is just as pleased to hop off to spend time on her own.
She is a true feline princess and if you dare doubt her royal, jungle cat nature, just gaze into those Cleopatra eyes.
All this special, regal lady needs is to find a loyal subject who understands what an amazing monarch she is. Could that be you?
