Our local Queen Anne Mud Bay location is taking steps to help adoptable pets find new forever homes with its new Mud Bay Adoption Center. The first of its kind at any Mud Bay, the center will be welcomed not only by the community, but also by the pets that find homes!
Mud Bay has partnered with the Seattle Animal Shelter for its new Adoption Center, and it’ll host an Adoption Event with SAS from 11am to 2pm tomorrow (Saturday) featuring cats, dogs, and critters. All pets pictured in this post are adoptable!
The Adoption Center has been built into the Mud Bay Uptown store and has the following features:
- It is fully equipped to make it easier for shelters, rescues and/or foster organizations to simply bring the pets to the center.
- It’s fully supported by Mud Bay and cared for by our staff allowing the center users to completely focus on the animals care.
- There’s comfortable space for potential adopters to get to know animals and have additional conversations about harder to adopt animals or animals with special needs.
To kick off the happy opening, Mud Bay is throwing an Open House tomorrow, Saturday, November 22 from 4pm to 6pm. Cats, dogs, and critters looking for homes will be there, and Mud Bay will host fun events to celebrate. The shop promises “good food, exciting raffles, a fun photo booth, and a community shelter fundraiser” – and, 10% of all Uptown store sales on Saturday will be donated to local shelters.
