October brings many things to look forward to, as well as one sad goodbye to our Queen Anne Farmers Market. It’s been a great season of fresh fruit, vegetables, Market demos, and performances at the Queen Anne Farmers Market. But, all good things must come to an end, and the market wraps its 2014 season next week.

Fear not though, the Market will be open today, Thursday, October 9th and next Thursday, October 16th from 3pm to 7pm. Then, the Market and its vendors will take a break until next June.

As the last two Market days help close the season, the QAFM would like to remind residents of the following:

– CSA Delivery: Get fresh produce throughout the year via CSA box delivery for the winter months. If you’re unsure if your favorite vendor has a CSA, the Info Tent we will have a complete list available.

– QAFM T-Shirts: All market t-shirts (from $20 to $15) and sweatshirts (from $30 to $20) will be on sale today. Stop by the Info Tent to check out the QAFM swag and 100% of the proceeds go to support the non-profit, community-run market.

– Queen Anne Helpline Coat Drive: You can drop off gently-used or new coats this week or next at the Info Tent. Coats will help members of the community who need them for the upcoming winter months.

Plan to spend today and next Thursday getting your Queen Anne Farmers Market fix before the long winter break!
