September really passed me by. Due to illness, I was pretty much out of commission for the entire month. But, I’m feeling better and October is just around the corner!

Helpline logoToday’s grey, cool weather is screaming Fall. And, that means even cooler temps are on the way. For some of our neighbors in need, cool weather means turning to the Queen Anne Helpline. The Helpline offers a wide range of assistance and its clothing bank is a great resource.

Stephanie Kastner reached out to the Helpline to find out the best way to help stock the Helpline’s resources, and she’s kicking off a coat drive this Wednesday, October 1st. If you’d like to donate gently used coats for either kids or adults, she’s making it easy to do so.

You can drop off coats at the Queen Anne Umpqua Bank at 1630 Queen Anne Ave N during the month of October. You can also bring coats to two Queen Anne Farmers Markets (October 2 and October 16).

If you’d like to schedule a pick-up at your home, give Stephanie a call at 206-999-1459 or send an email.
