The planned Uptown Parklet has already passed several hurdles – planning, design, and an ok from the city of Seattle. Check out the plan below, it even includes Uptown’s first Little Free Library!
Now, the hard work begins for Parklet supporters, and you can help. The Uptown Alliance is the mastermind behind the Parklet, and the organization is in high-gear for fundraising and they have a $20,000 goal. That’s where you come in.
If you’d like to see a Parklet in front of SIFF Uptown, pitch in with your dollars. All amounts are accepted, and for varying gift levels you get the following:
- $20: A big thank you on the Uptown Parklet Facebook page!
- $50: A limited edition parklet postcard signed by the parklet designer!
- $100: A complimentary SIFF Cinema ticket!
- $250: Earn a place on the Uptown Parklet Walk of Fame, with your name etched in 1/2″ letters!
- $1000: Earn a place on the Uptown Parklet Walk of Fame, with your name etched in 1″ letters!
