In the past, we’ve provided the heads up on the cool new home of local listener-powered radio station KEXP, and it’s gettting close. The station is moving into the new space next year, and to celebrate the upcoming move from Dexter & Denny to the Seattle Center, they’re throwing a party to celebrate. Best part? Everyone is invited!

“All In: The Rally for KEXP’s New Home” is this Thursday, July 10th from 6pm to 8pm in the Northwest Rooms at the Seattle Center. The celebration includes live music from local Seattle band The Cave Singers and a beer garden.

The celebration is also an opportunity to help raise funds for KEXP’s new station. All donations from July 10th through August 5th will be matched  from a pool that has contributions from musicians and supporters including Pearl Jam, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, and Dave Matthews.

Join KEXP on Thursday at the Seattle Center and get ready for their big move next year!

Edit: updated to add the name of the previously-surprise musical guest – The Cave Singers.
