Get ready for the 4th at the Queen Anne Farmers Market
Posted on July 3rd, 2014 by Sara Willy
It may be the calm before the storm that brings fireworks and celebrations, but that doesn’t mean the Queen Anne Farmers Market is taking a break. The market will be open today 3-7:30pm so you can pick up fresh ingredients for your 4th of July picnics, BBQs, and more.
Here’s today’s schedule of events and rotating food trucks, courtesy of the QAFM:
Live Music on the Picnic Lawn
5:00-7:00pm: Space Station 206, a Queen Anne-based DJ group. They regularly spin at Targy’s Tavern and have rocked New Year’s Eve there the past few years. At QAFM they’ll be playing “really really smooth music (aka Yacht Rock).” So if you like Hall & Oates, Michael McDonald, Toto, and Kenny Loggins, your ship has come in!
We have bushels of fresh market tees, tote bags & posters. All proceeds benefit QAFM.
Happy market day!
