You may recall that the spot in front of SIFF Uptown has been chosen for a parklet. SDOT has approved the Uptown Parklet concept design and now it’s time to rally community support.

Uptown Parklet

The Uptown Alliance is meeting tomorrow, Thursday, June 26th, at 6:30pm to discuss funding options. Volunteers are needed to help the Parklet become a reality. Attend the meeting to find out how you can help with community outreach and fundraising activities, such as raising donations from businesses and individuals and staffing an info booth at the Queen Anne Farmers Market.

The meeting will be held in the community room at the EXPO building (100 Republican St.), and it’s open to all.
