The QuickStart Tennis program for kids ages 7-10 is open now for registration. The classes are run through Seattle Parks and Recreation and the Queen Anne Community Center and are taught at the David Rogers Park tennis courts.

The summer program is for beginners ages 7-10 years – smaller rackets and low pressure/foam balls are used on smaller courts designed for younger players. Kids learn via fun drills and games. The program runs from June 23rd though August 13th with practices held Mondays and Wednesdays from 6-7pm for 7-8 year olds and 7-8pm for 9-10 year olds.

Starting in July the kids will get to play in local matches against other community center teams. The program costs $35 per player and all equipment is provided.

If you’d like to sign up your future phenoms, contact the QACC 206-386-4240 or stop by to sign up directly. (There is no online registration available.) You can also contact Jeannie Shek via email or at 206-684-4764 if you have any questions or to register.
