Mark your calendars for Queen Anne Days and volunteer to help make it happen

One of the signature Queen Anne community events is the annual Queen Anne Days. Last year, the Queen Anne Helpline Fun Run kicked off the day, the kiddie parade marched down 1st Ave W, the merchant Sidewalk Sale lined Queen Anne Ave N, and Big Howe field was home to a car show, booths, and live entertainment.

This year, Queen Anne Days will be July 12 and 13, and it’ll include the usual events – but, a big change this year will be the addition of food trucks, kids bands, 20+ booths with games and interactive events.

In addition to being a fun community event, Queen Anne Days also raises funds for the Queen Anne Community Center (QACC) and Queen Anne Helpline. This year, the team running the event is also seeking volunteers to help make the community festival fun for all.

Here’s this year’s schedule:

Saturday Schedule

  • 8:00am – 9:30am – Fun Run
  • 10:00am to 6:00pm – Sidewalk Sale, Queen Anne Avenue N
  • 11:00am to 12:00pm – Kiddie Parade
  • 12:00pm to 4pm – Community Festival on Big Howe Playfield

Sunday Schedule

  • 10:00am to 6:00pm – Sidewalk Sale, Queen Anne Avenue N

And, finally, that call for volunteers. Queen Anne Days is seeking both families and individuals to help out this year. The organizers are also looking for booth participants who’d like to showcase their local business.

If you’d like to host a booth or volunteer to help out, contact Barcy Fisher via email.
