Just two weeks from today is opening day at the Queen Anne Farmers Market! The QAFM team has been working diligently behind the scenes to bring the neighborhood the best farmers market possible – and they’ve just announced the new 2014 poster!

2014PosterQAFMJoe Wirtheim, the artist behind last year’s poster, is back again with a new image for the market. Joe is a Pacific Northwest artist, and his work has been on the cover of Organic Gardening Magazine, as well as featured in Martha Stewart Living Magazine.

With the new poster design, the QAFM “wanted to emphasize the market’s main mission and that is bringing Seattle together to build a better community. Joe’s call to action is for everyone to ‘dig into community’. We hope our customers are inspired by the message and come together for our community markets best season yet.”

As in the past, you can get your very own QAFM poster at the market info tent or at Queen Anne Frame. Each poster costs $15 with all proceeds benefitting QAFM.

And, now, the countdown to summer begins – mark your calendars for Thursday, June 5, opening day for QAFM!
