In just two days, ghosts, goblins, and other costumed-kids will hit the streets of Queen Anne. In addition to trick-or-treating in the neighborhood, here’s what’s happening on Queen Anne:
Trick or Treating: Upper Queen Anne merchants will be handing out candy from 3pm to 6pm. Treats can be had from the corner of McGraw and Queen Anne Ave N to the corner of Galer and Queen Anne Ave N. As always, the annual event is FREE.
Queen Anne Farmer’s Market: Halloween is the last day of the market, and to help get everyone in the spooky spirit, Sparkfly Photography will have a booth set up for FREE portraits of kids and their families in costume.
Note: we have a lot of busy intersections along Queen Anne Ave, so please avoid driving up or down the street between 3pm and 6pm to help keep trick or treaters safe!
Seattle Center: FREE Scavenger Hunt around the Seattle Center Campus on Halloween from 4pm – 8pm. Kids and their families can download a copy of the scavenger hunt or stop by the Seattle Children’s Museum or EMP on Halloween night to pick up a copy.
Seattle Children’s Museum: FREE annual Costume Carnival from 4pm-8pm with activities for kids 10 and under and their families including the Not-So-Spooky Haunted Mountain and Where In the World is Dracula games.
EMP Museum: FREE showings of Hotel Transylvania (2pm) and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow (3:30pm) and a Monster Fest: Kids Halloween Extravaganza (4pm -8pm) including frightening fun crafts, face painting and Monster Mash Dance contests. (MonsterFest is FREE; Museum Admission: Kids 12 and under in costume are FREE; adults in costume get $5 off admission).
Happy Halloween!
