In the ongoing planning for the CVS retail pharmacy that’ll replace Kidd Valley and adjoining businesses at the corner of Mercer and Queen Anne Ave N, it’s now time for another early design review. The meeting is open to the public, and will be held at 6:30pm on Wednesday, November 13 at the Queen Anne Community Center (1901 1st Ave W).

Proposed CVS as of July 2013
Updated design to be presented at Nov 13
Early Design Review

The current, updated proposal is for a 2-story, 16,000 square foot building with underground parking for 33 cars. At this meeting, the applicants will present information about the site and vicinity as well as early design concepts that will update the image to the right.

Per the Department of Planning and Development (DPD), the public may submit comments on the development design (e.g. site planning, design issues) through November 13, 2013.  You can submit comments via email or send them to:

City of Seattle – DPD – PRC
700 5th Avenue, Suite 2000
PO Box 34019
Seattle, WA  98124-4019

This meeting and the associated comments will be limited to design considerations. Comments related to environmental impacts (e.g traffic, parking, noise, etc.) would fall to an environmental review. (note: none scheduled yet).
