Queen Anne Wells Fargo bank robbed today

Per SPD tweets and the Seattle Times, the Wells Fargo Queen Anne branch (1600 Queen Anne Ave N) was robbed earlier today. SPD has one suspect in custody, the other is at large.

EDIT: per SPD’s Twitter feed, there is no second suspect: “No second susp in Queen Anne bank robbery. The only involved susp in custody.”

A man wearing what police describe as a “Halloween-style scream mask” robbed a Wells Fargo bank branch on Queen Anne Hill this afternoon.

Seattle police spokesman Mark Jamieson said officers quickly arrested the man. Police say they are searching for a second suspect. [Note: EDIT above]

Details about the robbery at 1600 Queen Anne Ave. N. haven’t been released.
