The annual Queen Anne Helpline Gala is Saturday, October 19th this year, but it’s not too soon to get your tickets. Early bird registration is open now through September 20th, at $100 per person.
As you may recall from our profile of the Helpline, it’s a local Queen Anne-based non-profit that helps people in our own neighborhood. The Helpline provides assistance to residents of Queen Anne and Magnolia (zip codes 98109, 98119, 98199) in various forms, depending on what a neighbor needs, ranging from financial assistance, to a clothing bank, to emergency food assistance, and more.
The Annual Gala proceeds directly help people, plus it’s a fun event and celebration of the great work the Helpline does in our neighborhood. At the Gala, you can enjoy live music featuring local band Jazz Underground, food from favorite Queen Anne restaurants via the Taste of Queen Anne, a Golden Raffle, and a hosted bar.
This year’s event has a location change – local Queen Anne church St Anne is providing the space for the event, so plan on heading to the St Anne Parish Hall at 101 W Lee St for the celebratory evening that runs from 6:30pm to 10pm.
