Queen Anne Community Council meets Wednesday, Future Queen Anne is on the agenda

The Queen Anne Community Council monthly meeting is tomorrow, Wednesday, September 4th. A special agenda item is a presentation by Future Queen Anne, the local group of residents who are promoting smart growth on Queen Anne and sponsoring a petition to stop the proposed development of 66 townhouses on the Seattle Children’s Home site at 9th Ave W and McGraw St.

The meeting is at Queen Anne Manor, 100 Crockett St. It begins at 7:30pm, and all residents are welcome. The agenda is as follows:

  • 7:30-Adoption of Agenda
  • 7:35- Open Forum- Comments
  • 7:45- Future Queen Anne- Terri Johnson, Kellie Piber
  • 8:40- QA election committee
  • 8:50- Committee Reports: LURC/Planning, Parks, Transportation, District Council, NAC, Communication, Social Issues, Police & Crime
  • 9:20- New Business
  • 9:30- Adjournment
