AFitMobctively Northwest is hosting #FitMob, a series of free fitness activities around Seattle, and this Saturday, they’re bringing free Zumba to Queen Anne. Instructors will lead participants through Zumba routines, with all fitness levels welcome.

The Zumba class will be held at the Queen Anne Bowl (2806 3rd Ave W) beginning at 8:30am and running (or dancing) through 10am. Actively Northwest will provide snacks and free LifeWise bags to tote your fitness gear home.

The event is free, and Actively Northwest is asking that people RSVP via Facebook if possible (although anyone who shows up is welcome). Check-in/registration is at 8:30am and the actual workout begins at 9:00am.

If you’re interested in additional free #FitMob events, they all take place on Saturdays and have the same start time of 8:30am – some are further afield, but take note of the September 7th Yoga and September 14th Tai Chi classes, the former in SLU, the latter at Myrtle Edwards Park:

  • September 7 – Yoga in Lake Union Park
  • September 14 – Tai Chi in Myrtle Edwards Park
  • September 21 – Ravenna Park trail run/walk
  • September 28 – Fitness Bootcamp at Garfield Community Center

More information on these additional classes can be found at Actively Northwest’s web site – each week they update the page with the next available class.
